Chicago Midway Airport [MDW]?

Hi, I am flying from Phoenix, AZ to Buffalo, NY in June with a stop in Chicago\Midway Airport. I was wondering if the airport is easy to get around? Also, are all the gates close by? I will be flying Southwest Airlines if that helps. Thanks!
