So now Obama has been elected, Why was this a good idea?

In America we are in this undeclared recession and the majority of the country thinks a democratic president and senate can fix it. Before you spout out Bill Clinton was the last president to balance the budget, don't because he benefited from the Regan and Bush presidency before him. The market is falling right now because of the election. So if you voted for Obama tell me what his PLAN is? because I never heard anything about his policy, just a lot of propaganda and the promise of change. How and what will change?
