Will Tuition Reimbursement Be Considered Taxable Income in 2011?

According to my employers 2011 'employee handbook' we're being told that our tuition reimbursement in 2011 will be considered as taxable income, and hence a tax liability to us. Does anyone know how accurate this is? I tried to look this up on IRS website but cannot find anything for 2011.
