Is it O.K. to break the speed limit when ping a vehicle?

If you exceeded the speed limit more than 5 miles, then no. That wont work. The judge will just say "you are supposed to be going 40. So if you are in the fast lane, and the car is going 40, why would you need to go faster than 2 or 3 miles over the limit". That's what the judge is going to say. I ume you were going faster than 45 though for them to pull you over so I don't think your plan will work if that's the case.
